Grandma O'Reilly passed away on May 13th.
Started school (myself) on June 1st.
Still wrestling with the County System, but managed to get Mn Care medical insurance... FINALLY. Just have to wait for f-ing July 1st for it to start. *grumbles*
Having a very hard time, personally, with my family. Mike isn't helping AT ALL. Emrick is back in diapers. And Pj...well, thankfully, he's just PJ but still a handful.
This is why I'm going back to school, though. To get a degree (hopefully) and get a decent job so I can finally be divorced. Live my life according to ME (hopefully).

ER visit/Story
Whelp - just had my very first ER visit with a child. Could have been waaay worse, considering the hospital we took him too only hands out nightmare stories of all night waiting for doctors to do nothing. (That's Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids for those of you who have also heard the tales of terror.) Anywho, I digress.
My 4 year old and I went to school to pick up the 8 year old. Afterwards, we all congregate on the playground so our childrens can play. Today, PJ (my 4 year old) went down the fireman poll. His friend, Isaac went down after him (thinking PJ had moved out of the way). Isaac's mouth connected with PJ's skull and massive bleeding started. Holy crap, there was a ton a blood. Bright red stuff just pumping out of his little noggin. And poor Isaac was missing a tooth. We made sure the tooth wasn't still embedded into PJ's skull while someone called 911.
Even tho the hospital is a mere THREE blocks away, it still took it 15 minutes for it to arrive. (How's THAT for service?) We even called 911 back to ask where it was - cuz, ya know CHILDREN were hurt.
The bleeding was stopped, the tooth (top, front Adult tooth, or Central Incisor for all you dental nerds) was placed in some milk and ice packs positioned. The EMT checked PJ and couldn't find the cut due to too much blood. She said since he wasn't hurt in any other way or had blacked out that I could take him to the ER in the car.
Mind you, this whole time, Emrick was standing about 10 feet away pulling his hair and screaming: HE'S GONNA DIE! I DON'T WANT TO SAY GOOD-BYE TO PJ! I DON'T WANT HIM TO DIE! At this point, I had to leave PJ in the hands of some of the school staff so I could calm Em down. Poor kid.
OK, so Mike picked up Em and I took PJ to the ER. Isaac and his mom were before us. So all I had to really tell everyone was the PJ was the Head to the missing Tooth. :D We went back into Triage and they cleaned him up good. We found THREE perfect teeth marks from Isaac, the middle being the one that bled so much. We then waited for about 45 min while the doc worked on Isaac's tooth. Which I didn't mind. Ended up turning the boob-tube on for PJ to distract him. The doc came in, looked at the cut, and glued him up on the spot. Nice and simple. (So much better than having to deal with a knocked out tooth, I tell you.) Also, waiting did much for PJ's recovery. By the end I was ready to duct tape him to the bed he was bouncing off the walls like his old self again.
We were given a 3 day prescription for antibiotics because this was considered a "biting case" and human saliva was involved. But that was it. I took him home. Gave him a bath to remove blood and dirt - and then we all went out and had Chinese.
And poor Isaac (who is 8, by the way, and twice the size of PJ). He kept asking PJ for forgiveness and telling his mom he didn't want to go to jail cuz it was only an accident. After the ER doc got his tooth back in they still are going to have to deal with an oral surgeon. I'm thankful that we don't have to deal with that.

Crazy Weekend
Ugh - first off - Pj is so super psyco/crazy today. This is one day I can't really stand anything. I think I'm PMS-ing.
Did a TON of cleaning this weekend. Went through my room Friday night. Have two bags for Goodwill and another that already went into the dumpster.
Saturday I slept in until 12:30, then finished making Jiji. Did more bedroom cleaning and vacuumed. Even started to utilize closet space and hung up clothing. *gasp*
Today (Sunday) managed to sleep in until about 9am - only to discover around 12pm that we missed Daylight Savings. So had to leap ahead a lil bit late. Had just finished doing all the dishes. Scrambled the boys into clothing and headed to the discount theater in Maple Grove and saw The Princess and the Frog. Wasn't too bad. Better then I thought it would be. PJ however, was a MONSTER throughout the whole thing. On the way home we stopped at Target to get more hangers.
Finished up the laundry and then tackled the boys' room. Two bags for Goodwill (one toys, one clothes). One bag for the dumpster. I still have two more boxes to go through for clothing as well. Yuck.
And sadly, I still haven't found my flash drive. I'm so bummed that it's gone. I thought FOR SURE I'd find it hiding in the boys' room - but it wasn't. I must go and mourn.

Wednesday
Took PJ to Hudson and visited Faith and Jos. Had a lovely time - was even able to get Miss Crabby-Pants (aka Jos) to calm down for a while.
Tomorrow PJ and I are headed to NR to visit Mom for lunch.
Mike isn't working tomorrow and he has to call in to see if they are working Friday. *sigh* Not good.

Schweeet!
Got my Project Earth ticket and kicked ass on the placement test for school.
So psyched. I just hope Camp Cookieface can reunite for at least two days. It won't be the same without everyone. *hint hint*

Woo - Update!
Playing "Stay At Home Mom" is HARD. PJ and I hardly stay at home. LOL
The library is our new hang out. Which is awesome cuz it really cuts the costs of me buying more and more books. My normal checkout time is only two days, AND I don't have to wait for sequels to series to come out.
I was able to get Unemployment and we also had two months of EBT (food) benefits - but now I can't figure out what more information they want so we're cut off for now. I do admit navigating the State systems is a bit like a circus. I shall plod on though.
I've also picked up Crocheting again. Thanks to the power for YouTube my need for visual learning is satisfied and I can now crochet in a round AND make the dreaded Magic Ring. So far I've made at least 8 hats, two bags, one purse, and a Amigurumi pig (aka a doll made by crocheting). So wicked cool and it keeps me busy.
Emrick turned 8 a few days ago. We had a birthday party for him - his (and ours) first. It went smashingly well.
PJ is all signed up for Preschool in the fall. He'll be going 3 days a week. Also have signed him up for T-ball starting in June. Holy crap, I'm super domesticated now!!
My next goal is to really start cleaning out this apartment. I've even checked out books from the library on how to clean, declutter, and organize. Watch out for me!
